Shawley Coker
Chairman/Managing Director

Shawiey Coker is the Chairman/Managing Director of CISCON Nigeria Limited with over 30 years international and domestic experience in the oil industry. On completion of his education at the Mississippi State University, in Starkville, USA, where he graduated from the School of General Business, prior to setting up CISCON, he worked in the United States, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, holding Engineering and Management positions in various multinational oil service companies. He sits on the Board of numerous companies. He is also a member of the governing council of the Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board (NCDMB), inaugurated on the 3rd of September, 2010.

 

Dr Joe Ejedawe
General Manager, Geological Services

Joe Ejedawe brings a rich experience in exploration geology, teaching and research to consultancy practice in Ciscon. He was a founding member of Kragha & Associates, from where he joined the academic staff of the University of Benin and later, Shell. He retired from Shell in 2007 and, after working briefly as Geological Adviser with Ciscon Nigeria Ltd, and Skangix Petroleum Limited, and as Exploration Manager for Energia Petroleum, co-founded and managed Ejedawe & Partners Nigeria Limited, from where he was invited to join Ciscon. His experience covers 46 years of diversified activity with main focus on regional geological studies and prospectivity analysis in Shell E&P globally. His expertise spans projects in Nigeria, Gabon, Brunei, Sakhalin, South Caspian, Algeria and Middle East. He has published over 70 international and proprietary industry papers and reports.

He is a founding member of Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), of which he is a fellow, and a past Editor in Chief. He is a member of Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), and American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) for which he served as Advisory Council representative for Africa. He is a registered geoscientist with the Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG), and the recipient of NMGS Reyment Award for consistent Technical Excellence in soft rock geology of Nigeria.

 

Sam U. Orugboh
General Manager Finance

Sam Orugboh has been with CISCON for over 10 years and he is currently the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining CISCON Nigeria Limited, he was a Senior Partner with White-Orugboh & Associates Accounting Firm in the United States. He also has had over 20 years experience as an Oil & Gas Accountant in the United States. He holds a Post Graduate degree in Management from the University of Houston, USA and a professional certificate as a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.

 

Boni Akpan
General Manager, Well Services

Boni Akpan assumed management duties at CISCON Nigeria Limited after serving as the International Marketing Manager at CISCON Inc., Houston. Prior to joining CISCON, he held several Engineering and Management positions with Flopetrol and Schlumberger Services in France, Scotland, Middle-East and the United States. He holds a Post-graduate degree in Petroleum Engineering and Engineering Management. He has 30 years International and Domestic experience in the oil industry and he is a published author on technical issues with Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) where he has been a member for over 30 years.

 

Yomi Orenuga
General Manager- Engineering Services.

Yomi Orenuga joined Ciscon Nigeria Limited in February 2014 with nearly 30 years of Oil & Gas industry experience within the TOTAL Group. He worked in several divisions of TOTAL, including drilling & completion, offshore production, offshore terminal operations, crude oil sales, natural gas development & monetisation, IPP and oilfield development. He managed several onshore and offshore rigs, and was DGM Usan Deepwater Development Project until late 2010 when he was appointed GM Nigerian Content in TOTAL E&P Nigeria. His career in TOTAL included postings to Angola, Cameroon, France and the UK.

He is past Chairman, SPE Section 61 and past Secretary-General, Nigerian Gas Association. He was Honorary Lecturer at the Institute of Petroleum Studies, University of Port-Harcourt teaching Petroleum Project Management and served in the Presidential Task Force on Contract Processing in Nigerian Oil & Gas industry. He has attended numerous technical and management programs and presented papers at major International Oil & Gas Conferences.

He obtained post-graduate degree in Petroleum Engineering from Institut Français du Petrole (IFP), France and LL.B. degree in 1999. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. He speaks English and French, and is a member of several professional bodies.
