Reservoir Modelling

Typical reservoir studies include a detailed calibration of reservoir and seal properties that are integrated with seismic attribute analysis and geostatistics to provide a high-resolution model for the reservoir. The models are designed to include any reservoir heterogeneities and internal baffles and barriers to flow that the data will support.

Outcrop Well Data

Prospecting for hydrocarbons requires that each component of the hydrocarbon system be viable.

The first stage in producing an integrated reservoir model is to collect and evaluate existing information on the reservoir interval. Inevitably, some useful data will be available. Existing information will commonly include varying amounts of well log and core data, 2-D (less often 3-D) seismic data, well/field production information, plus any published and unpublished studies on similar reservoirs.

Ciscon G & G team insists on acquiring robust geology, geophysical and petrophysical datasets, which are used to characterize simple to complex reservoirs, locally as well as regionally.
